"If you’re looking to reconnect with nature this property is right up your alley , but I must warn you there are some things that left me feeling disappointed. Under property information it states that they provide tour assistance when in reality all they provide is a car service and nothing else you have to do your homework on what’s to do in the area.We were also promised a to go breakfast but at check out there was nothing left for us. "The blinds were so thin you can see inside the rooms. The door had no locks from the inside. Ants were always everywhere even at dinner time. Only one sweet lady who did an amazing job running the entire place and it seemed like I was the only one there at the time. This spa is not a good place too stay. Not even an iron or air conditioner was in the rooms at all either and list goes on. Stay away!"

"They just finished painting the pool edge...looks great. This is our 3 year at the Trapp Family Inn. The only thing that was different was it was warmer than usually in San Jose than in previous years. The rooms were definitely warmer, but we were glad we had ceiling fans. Service, Food, and hospitality were great. We'll be BACK!"

"Brand new property; very clean and well designed. Beautiful lobby with separate lounge and reading spaces, dining space, bar and outside seating. Excellent self serve buffet breakfast with wide variety of hot and cold food options and even some cook to order items (eg. eggs cooked to order). Free social on Wednesday evenings with food and drinks. Very friendly and helpful staff. Large, beautiful rooms (no carpet!) with lovely mountain views, full sized fridge, and well designed bathroom....

"Perfect for a late night arrival into Costa Rica. 4 minutes from the airport (I took a taxi, as they don’t have a shuttle pickup). The staff upon arrival was kind enough to help arrange transport to my next location (a ride to Quepos for $200). The shower was amazing - hot water and fantastic water pressure. And breakfast was the best - Nelly was so kind and the food a perfect introduction to Costa Rican cuisine. Enjoyed the pool under the mango tree. Pura vida!"
