decent location and decent room.

there is only 2 draw backs about this accomodation. 1) the noise that permeates the walls and roof. The noise in the room nearest the busy street is pretty bad. 2) the breakfast. Other than that the room is spacious if not a little weird with the toilet not being vented but open to the room. the bed was comfortable and the receptionist was helpful.

This place is conveniently located in the heart of the city. it is on the beach side but does not have beach view from the room. The toilet and shower are open to the room, yet they do have a private door or curtain for privacy while using. As you can see from photos, the wall for the shower has a curtain and the wall for toilet has a door. Must NOT flush toilet paper in the toilet as most of the hotels in Tamarindo. Very nice patio outside the room to enjoy. We have stayed there twice now and found it comfortable. May need to bring your own beach towel. They have a blow dryer to use if you ask in advance.

Check in and out was a bit weird

Nobody there to check us in except for the security guard who had to call the manger in order to let us in. Had to pay cash on checkout and leave payment in room because nobody was there to accept payment. Otherwise? The room was great and the air conditioning and WiFi worked well.

Friendly, accommodating owner. Perfect location. It doesn’t have a beach view but it’s on the beach above a dress shop. It has a great patio where they serve you a free cook-to-order breakfast each day. If your sharing room with someone, you do need to know that the bathroom is part of the room. It does have door to toilet and shower privacy door. There is not really a private dressing area. Large clean shower with good water pressure. As in other places in town, you cannot flush toilet paper in the toilet. It goes in can next to toilet. Very comfortable room. They did not provide a blow dryer in the room, if I had asked they may of had one to borrow (not sure). There is no dressing mirror, only 1 mirror hung kinda high over the sink. We would definitely stay there again. Great value and service. Randy the owner even arranged private luxury van service to airport In Liberia for $70.

Strange set up of the room but comfortable and ideal nonetheless. Good AC and fan. Great size and right on the beach.
