Rooms were clean. We had the queen by the pool. It was perfect for the 2 of us. The view from the pool is stunning. Very relaxing spot. 25-30 minutes from Tamarindo beach. Food on site for lunch was great. Breakfast was ok. Carolina and Enrique were very kind and helpful. All in all a nice spot. We didn’t use the spa only the hot tub. But it looked nice. The road to get there is a bit windy and rough. But part of the adventure!

This is one of those hotels that you almost don't want to talk about for fear of it becoming too popular. The owners are very friendly and it feels like being a guest in a private home with staff to take care of everything for you.

A lovely Costa Rican bed and breakfast style hotel. 5-star property for Costa Rica standards, 4-star property by traditional standards. The staff is amazing. The food is excellent. Expect a very relaxing bed and breakfast type hotel where you are made to feel like family. The food is fantastic.

The property is beautiful but the staff is amongst the best. They are very professional and will do whatever they can to make your stay memorable. My husband and I spent 7 days at the hotel. Shout-out to Ari, Enrique, Mónica, Angelica and the chef who made out stay unforgettable.

This is an amazing find, the staff and facility are amazing. There are dining options that are truly delicious and are available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are, of course, plenty of monkeys in the area. I cannot say enough how much Los Altos made our Costa Rica trip.

A jewel in the hills

This hotel is a real gem. The staff are so welcoming and helpful, they go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. The spa is amazing. Very peaceful and serene, but you can be at the beach in 20 mins.

This is a great boutique hotel for someone looking for a reclusive and quite stay. It is located in the mountains with gorgeous views. Fyi. The standard room only has one queen size bed. If you're traveling with friends, it is best to book separate rooms unless you want to share a bed. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. We are so glad to have chosen LADE.

Best Hotel we ever stay in From the moment we arrive to Los Alto Del Eros the staff made us feel like royalty What an experience The Facilites was beautiful The room was perfect We truly love our outdoor shower The staff truly took care of us and made us feel like family This hotel truly captured Costa Rica Pura Vida experience To wake every morning to sounds of the monkeys And the outdoors priceless My husband and i participated in the yoga classes every morning…nasamte Then we headed for breakfast with a personal chef Provided by the hotel The food was divine The signature drink Los Altos del Eros literally hypnotize us just kidding… The spa services was relaxing The best part was the private couple massages and romantic dinner just for the two of us. My favorite part is that the hotel only had 6 rooms So the staff had the opportunity to really catered to us. I have been going to this property for the last 8 years and everytime the service and the experience are superb!!! This time wasnt it any different. The location has best of all worlds - its private but close to all the local attractions such as Tamarindo and beautiful beaches like Avellanas. The staff and their hospitality is beyond words. What can I say? Perfect. nothing less than perfect. Every thing was perfect. the private Chef dinner (for the price of a standard US restaurant), the amazing spa facility, the view from everywhere, the infinite Instagram pool, the tasty breakfast, the hotel team (Especially Yenina), the luxury romantic room, dont think twice if you are in this area with a car. unforgettable stay!

Very nice piece of heaven in a crazy country!!

Beautiful pool and location, far away from the tourists and crazy locals. Amazing chef prepared meals . Friendly staff and excursions you can go on if you want to interact with the wildlife or the locals. A/C!!! We drove in and had a little trouble finding it, but a phone call fixed that easily. They provide shuttle services so you don't need a car, and with how crazy the locals are, I don't think you want to drive like we did!

It is a small hotel, where you fill that you are at a personal home with personalized service. They are always available to serve you, but also very reserved of you privacy and intimacy. We loved this place.

Feeling stressed ?, Need to Detox you are life ? Tired ? In Need of personal time and space ? Want to be treated life royalty ? Want the best Massage in your Life ? Then this is the Hotel for you ! I loved my Stay !, I met new Friends, Food was Amazing, Drinks Amazing OH and the pool and the spa was so Relaxing and refreshing i felt like a brand new Person. The staff was so Nice and Helpful. It felt like Home away from Home . I live in NYC so this was a perfect Getaway for Peace of mind. I can't wait to return !!!
