"The rooms were average, but several maintenance issues were noticeable. There were broken tiles and a damaged health faucet in the bathroom. The room also lacked convenient features such as a USB charging port or an international power socket. Additionally, the water fountain and the surrounding area in the backyard were poorly maintained. Overall, it did not feel like good value for money. "

"Location was great - 15 mins walk into the old town (with some good places of interest en route) and for the evening - the area has many fabulous cafes and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The whole hotel is really arty and chilled. Our room (102) was large and comfortable and the bathroom was amazing. There was a choice of local or western breakfast each morning with lots of PG tips!! Would definitely go back. We walked the whole of Ipoh twice over during our stay and agreed that our hotel was in the best location!"

"This hotel is really interesting and quirky but its location in the middle of 10 car yards and rooms 110, 220, 310 upwards being on a major road into Ipoh makes it untenable unless you’re deaf. Honestly we found from dusk until 4am the noise from trucks, loud motorbikes and traffic to be unbearable and I am 60% deaf in one ear. "

A special thank you to Jannah at the reception for her warm welcome, professionalism, and attentiveness. She was courteous, efficient, and always ready to assist with a genuine smile, which made the check-in and overall experience truly pleasant. Also a big thank you to Jagjeet for placing the slice of birthday cake in our room so that i may surprise my best friend on her birthday! I would also like to commend the housekeeping team for the birthday decorations as well as maintaining the room in impeccable condition. The cleanliness, attention to detail, and consistency throughout my stay did not go unnoticed and greatly enhanced my comfort. "Wonderful house, excellent service, good food (if anything, the portions were too generous). The gardens are the highlight, flower borders, etc - much nicer version of England compared to the original. Development encroaching in the valley, but there isn’t much the hotel can do about that I suppose. "

"One of the better hotel in the town"

"First room we were given the beds were unmade and there was still trash in the garbage bin. The bathroom had cockroaches in it and it wasn't given a clean vibe at all. We were then given a different room. However this room was having mold on the walls, as well as a smell of mold. We then left the hotel cancelling our stay, and the manager said if wishing for a refund go through Expedia through which I did, however management decided not to refund the situation and time we had wasted, and instead offered us a complimentary room, which we did not take."
