"It is a beautiful location. Stunning pool and surrounds - unfortunately the condition of the timber walkways is a real concern. Crystalbrook Byron has to spend a lot of time and money to replace and make good these walkways, to lift their profile and compete in this retreat space."

"The room was not properly cleaned and, in all likelihood, had not been for some time. Shards of broken glass were scattered around on the floor, shower cubicle was very slippery as had not been properly cleaned beyond a cursory wipe-over. Somehow the front desk staff were critical of US for not notifying them earlier - not a very friendly or empathetic response."

"We loved our stay at the tiny house! it was clean and cosey, I thought it was a lovely welcoming touch to have the radio on as we entered the house. Because of the bad weather (always happens to us, when we go away it rains) we were glad of the covered deck outside. We had a cheeky possum visit on the Friday night, we loved that, the lush rain forest foliage made us think we were alone and couldn't really see neighbours. "There is a smell in the bathroom. The underground carpark and lift to the rooms (not all rooms have lift access) were extremely helpful if you have large luggage."

"Poolside room with pretty terrace. Lovely outlook. Heated pool with nice warm spa. Great room and pool side service. Loud music from bar next door a little annoying first thing in the morning but wouldn’t stop us coming again. Loved it here."

"Do not book the Studio room! Upgrade to the Villa or don’t stay here. The Studio rooms are barely bigger than a prison cell and are nowhere near 5 star hotel quality. The property is neat and the staff are so nice. Just don’t book the Studio rooms. "
