Near the train station and walkable to shops and some attractions. Service could be improved as the curry rice dinner provided did not come with other dishes (just curry sauce and rice). A request for a 1 hour late check out because we have a kid came with a 1000yen fee which I thought was uncalled for.

The seating and dining areas are not conducive. There was complimentary curry rice (white rice and curry gravy) and a drink for each hotel guest during happy hours. Other than that, the small room is adequately furnished.

Clean, comfortable, a bit pricey.
I stayed here only for one night during the Spring Festival. It's very close to the train station and clean. However, I think it was overpriced -most likely because of the Festival-.

The hotel is on the quieter side behind the Takayama station but is still very convenient. The room is very clean and the concept of eco cleaning is very good too.

Staff is good , but they have own site parking but they didn’t allow me parking car there . In snow time its very difficult to parking very far . Also didn’t give any discount coupon for parking.

The hotel is good because of it’s new facilities, Guest delight w/ the happy hour & coffee service. Staff is supportive to assist/answer our questions. In general the price & service is fine ..., We choose to stay in this hotel next time😍

Loved the mattress, not the moldy bathroom curtain
I confess that I was looking for the cheapest hotel near the Takayama train station. But as the Kuretakeso supposedly has thermal baths, I let that fact sway me. So, the Kuretakeso wasn't the cheapest, but it was still cheap, for Takayama prices anyway. And I suppose now I know why. The Good: The bed! It was really big and that mattress was heaven! The pillow too was very comfy. The Not So Good: The room is supposed to have "blackout curtains / blinds". They are blinds and not blackout, but still sufficiently dark. The "What the heck!": The room size was average for a business hotel of this kind, but the layout was just awkward. The electric kettle and cups were next to de entrance door, almost all the electric sockets are near the bed, in the other end of the room. The desk has no mirror, but there is a full length mirror just in front the bathroom door, so you can say hello to yourself while in the toilet if you left the door open. The Bad:The check-in was really awkward, with 3 front desk persons that speak bad English trying to tell me what to do all at the same time. They made a mistake with what I had to pay, so later I had to go down to the reception to pay the difference. But the worst was that due to COVID the thermal baths WERE CLOSED! And I found out only until I got there AND paid for my stay. They gave me bath bombs to make my own SPA! The Really BAD: The bathroom curtain! It was pink with shower mould from sink height to its lower end. I won't be coming back.

Amazing hotel .. though i stayed only one night it is the best. Close to Train and bus station with easy access. Pillow bar and massage chair are pleasant surprise.. Highly recommend and will stay again next time am in Takayama.

It was at the west side of the Takayama Station. Looking all majestic which you can recognize the building from far away. Building was still new i think. Overall nice experience.

Hotel can be prominently seen from the train station. Staff is friendly n helpful. Breakfast though varied is delicious. Room size is Ok though the toilet (comprising bathtub sink n toilet bowl) of 1.2m2 can be a challenge for a huge guy like me

The place is nice and new.The room is bigger than average Japanese hotel room which is lovely.Got ur own AC unit which u can adjust ur own temperature ,that’s a plus coz half of the time in other hotels u will be sweating even in Winter.I wish the staffs could communicate in English better as they do have a lot of foreign visitors coming to Japan.Make sure u book with BF otherwise u might find they won’t have any to sell to u but if u get into that situation like I did,there is McDonald around the back which I found out myself,staffs didn’t have that knowledge.Lastly I’m not happy with the price Expedia charge me,I got charged for ¥10032 but I found out from the receptionist that the room only cost ¥6000 something,well I have to check with other sites first before I book with you again.

Overall it was good
It was difficult to control room temperature as it seems to be controlled centrally. It was generally too hot and couldn’t get comfortable. Otherwise it was good and location was excellent.

Although it located at the more quiet side of Takayama, it only take few minutes walk to bus n train station. Hotel Building is new built, so it's quite a pleasant stay for two nights.

Very clean and spacious. Across from station with convenient stores closeby. The staff were very thoughtful to leave behind clean towels at the door despite not requesting cleaning services. Checkin is located on 2nd floor so you could easily by pass from lobby into the upper floors without card swipe which is a security risk. But i enjoyed my dtay otherwise.

Very near to Takayama train station and bus terminal. Walk about 15 min to Takayama old town or morning market. You can walk to supermarket just 5 min.

Location near bus terminal & JR Station, cross the bridge from JR station to Hotel. Very new hotel thus rooms are in good condition, the temperature can be adjusted for heat or aircon which is great rare in Japan. Hotel provide complimentary bar drinks nightly till 8pm 1 per person. Really enjoyed the stay was comfortable & good value.
