Everything was tip top! I arrived before check in and the front desk stored my bag; there was a quiet workspace just across from the reception. Breakfast was at a Japanese restaurant next to the hotel; they offered a full compliment of dishes: Japanese omelette, fish, sautéd vegetables, rice and meat choices, and excellent coffee, too. There was a public bath on floor 9 with an advisory that some bath times may be busy. In my room, everything worked from the heat, to the lights to the electrical outlets. It was a single room, on the small size, but I has adequate room to move about with my suitcase open. The front desk was most accommodating. High marks for this hotel, which is situated next to the iconic Clement Takamatsu, but has its own charm. I stayed three nights and would happily return. K Zurich Fung

My room by the window on the bottom had quite large halls. I am not sure if they are aware of this, but it was not good to see these halls.

Wonderful place to stay in Takamatsu right between the station and the ferry terminal! Nice public baths and a 7-11 in the building are a big plus!

Terrrible room cleaning
The shower curtain is moldy. The bedside table is dusty. Staff are not very hospitable. The manager should pay attention to his/her management of operations.

Near the JR train station. Note, the JR Clement Inn is adjacent to the JR Clement Hotel but the two are not the same. Comfortable but compact room, typical of a Japanese business hotel. No breakfast in the hotel, but Japanese breakfast served in the cafe next door. Choice of meat or fish. Convenient to bus terminal to visit nearby famous garden.

Basic hotel in fantastic location
The hotel itself is basic but the location is perfect for catching ferries to and from the Art Islands. The provided pajamas are SUPER comfortable!
