This hotel is a bit older in terms of its age, but the overall hardware is still good. However, due to the impact of the epidemic on business, the staff may be slightly inadequate. When I checked in, the lobby was not lit and there were no employees at the front desk, which made me hesitate for a moment. Nevertheless, the hotel rooms are still good, and the location is also very good with convenient transportation.

the location is great, close to the museum, parks, shopping, and many dining options. The hotel is clean, staff are nice. We will definitely come back next time.

Great location in central Taichung area. Easy walking distance to both small local streets and markets as well as the big shopping malls, and several great parks. Lots of good restaurants are nearby. The hotel itself is acceptable, but not outstanding. It's old and it shows. Bed was stiff, everything in the room was pretty dated. Breakfast wasn't great and despite the description, there is definitely no hotel bar. I've stayed in Taichung many times, and this is my favorite area, but I probably won't stay at this hotel again.

Dated hotel, mediocre service & construction
Dated hotel with mediocre service. The location is great but there is a huge construction project next door. It makes access to the hotel and parking lot difficult at times. The parking lot is off site with very tight corners. I was hoping to check-in early. And in my experience, many hotels will oblige if there is availability. I was told that the only way for early check in is to pay 1200 NT for noon check in. Good water pressure for shower.

check in staff does not allow us to stay in front of her when she search for our booking. refuse to precheck us in before 3 pm. and insist that we need to wait till 3 pm and line up to check in. so many customers sit in lobby to wait for 3pm and start the line? why?

This hotel locates at the heart of the most trendy area in the city of Taichung. Buffet style breakfast offers much choices. The convenience to restaurants, department stores makes it a very ideal place for visitors. The service is good. Wish the lighting can be brighter.

This place is very convenient, close to the shopping areas. There is a park in front of the hotels with a lot of trees and various flowers. The breakfast was delicious with many choices. I enjoyed staying at this hotel.
