"Great location. If you don’t have any walking limitations the Outside Inn is in walkable distance to the charming Historical Downtown area with cute shops and restaurants. We stayed in the Rock Climbing Suite, which felt like a cozy little cabin and very clean. It also had a rock climbing wall in the room, which I wasn’t expecting. The heater in the room may be a little louder than some people are used to but we had no issues with it. The front desk person was very nice when I spoke to her...

"We stayed at the Holbrooke for a birthday/Valentines getaway weekend and were thoroughly impressed by the service and the amenities! The tasting menu special dinner course was phenomenal and one of the best meals we’ve ever experienced. The ambience of the hotel and the local area was so charming and unique. The only minor hiccup we had was the original room we were placed in was right next to a side exit door that slammed very loudly whenever someone entered or exited. Because of that, we slept...

"Great location, quiet, and roomy. Breakfast starts a bit late, if you plan on leaving in the morning like I did. And, there was not central heating, just a space heater and in wall heater. Would recommend for those who are crashing for the night and heading to Tahoe for skiing and snowboarding!"
