"On the plus side, the cottage we stayed at was spacious and well-equipped. Unfortunately walls are paper-thin and there's no blinds/curtains in the main room (the big top window) which isnt great in a country like jpn where the sun rises at 4-5am for most of the year."

"Very nice onsen hotel and dog friendly. Japanese style room but has beds and comfortable chairs, spacious rooms with seperated shower, toilet and sink rooms. It is very clean and no smell at all (we dont have dog for the stay there). We booked the half board and the 10-course dinner and elegent breakfast were excellent.
