"Everything was GREAT with the exception of the spa location…Spa location was waaaay tooo far, it needs a golf cart to transport the visitors and honestly was kinda scary and creepy."

"Dozens of cockroaches in hotel book in room. Room keeping average. Sheets had small piles. One pool operating for a busy resort felt small. Food and waiting staff at restaurant great. FiaFia night great although when they say there is kava to try afterwards, there isn't. Overall, okay. Wouldn't stay here again for what we paid for the adults only villa."

"We only stayed one night and unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to utilise the water activities. We thought our room was lovely with its cosy deck and overlooking the beach. We loved the seating areas set up for sunny weather and had the most delicious dinner with accompanying drinks. The owners and staff were very friendly, down to earth people who made us feel very welcome. I would recommend this magic spot as it was a great location to also access the Giant Clams and Coastal lava cliff...

"It needs a re vamp. Re paint areas. Tidy up little things in the room. The desk was run down. The staff had to be asked to clean or tidy areas. For example coffee cups sat on small table next to pool chairs for 2 days. Also they need to get rid of the cats. It’s only gonna get worse. Cats jumping up on tables when you finish eating."

"Please deep clean or Renovate each Villa one by one. Too many bugs. Food was good. Please take care of bugs and the floors walking around with holes in it. Separate the shower and toilet so customers aren’t showering next to the toilet bowl. Amazing place and very affordable!"

"Was an easy place to stay. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Staff were excellent at all times. Good eating places in easy walking distance. Breakfast was always something different on each day and had a Samoan flavour which was a nice touch."

"On arrival I paid for our accommodation and was charged in Samoan Tala my booking was in NZD. When I checked my bank account the next day I found I had been charged substantially more than the amount confirmed in my booking. I raised the issue with reception and was told they would investigate. After receiving no response to a follow up email to reservations I eventually contacted the General Manager who resolved the issue promptly. "The resort does seem to be the most up market in the area but it has a long way to go before it rates as well as a 5 star resort at say, Fiji. The rooms are nice but are not regularly deep cleaned. Washing machine and shower frames all dirty. The beds are terrible, I asked for a new mattress but it was no better. They are noisy with any movement, you can feel the springs and they are very firm. The shower head holder in my room was broken, reported it and maintenance replaced the head but left...

"Well located with a nice pool. The room was spacious, comfortable and the outdoor shower and bathroom were nice. We didn't experience the restaurant as there were private functions on the evenings we stayed but we found some great places to eat near by with recommendations from the staff and friends of ours. Very convenient for the Robert Louis Stevenson house and for adventures over the hill to the south coast, whilst also only 5mins drive from Apia town center. Parking at the hotel was easy...
