"My family and I enjoyed our two nights at the lodge. The rooms and the ensuite bathroom are neat (though there was no toilet brush) and have got its own television. The kitchen also has a sitting area to relax, a dinning and its own television, all basic cooking utensils are available. Most importantly the gentle man in charge was reachable, responsive and respectful. If I were to visit Kings Lynn again I'll definitely lodge here."

"My room was a lovely suite with its own kitchen and sofa. I think furniture lay out could be changed so you could watch TV from the sofa rather than just the bed. My TV didn’t work the first night but the staff fixed it the second night, and offered me another room if they couldn’t. Breakfast was nice and lots of choice. Hot food cooked fresh. The hotel is more central than I thought so easy to walk into town along the river or even to the large garden centre. A big downside is my room was in the annex on the ground floor with the car park right outside. I had to keep the curtains closed as cars and people were directly outside my window."

"Stayed for one night on Saturday 17th October. The accommodation wasn't quite as expected, but a pleasant surprise. What I thought we were getting was a 'normal' double room. However, it was in fact a whole apartment overlooking the wonderful Minster. The accommodation was very spacious, warm, comfortable and close to all amenities. The actual building is rather old, which reflected on some of the fixtures and fittings. The windows were the original old sash type and actually opened. However, they didn't block out the sound from outside. Being a pub/restaurant, it was rather noisy late at night when folk were leaving and bidding one another farewell (which seemed to last until midnight) But all in all, a pleasant stay, at a reasonable cost. We will certainly return."

Needed to go and ask Reception for more milk supplies as no one came in to check the room. I ate in the restaurant twice and the food was good. "This is a great hotel perfectly situated in the town centre with easy parking just around the corner & the staff were excellent. The room was clean & comfortable. The breakfast was also very good value. I would have given a perfect score but we only stayed one night & the first time we used the shower was in the morning and i could not regulate the shower temperature so the water was scolding & as we had to exit the room by 10am so the only option was to have a wash. Also the plug in the sink was not the right size so the water quickly seeped away. Despite the lack of a workable shower & the sink plug issue i would definately stay at this hotel again & just make sure the shower & sink were ok on arrival rather than find out the following morning when it was too late to fix."
