"Wonderful family owned hotel. The TL or tenderloin neighborhood is San Francisco can always be a bit sketchy, but the city seems to have cleaned up in the last couple of years. This is an old hotel which I’m sure if the walls could talk would have quite the stories it has one of the oldest elevators in the city, which is really cool. I would definitely stay here again and it’s a great hotel when you’re on a budget."

"Perfect place to stay for a solo or couple to stay for 1-3 nights. Excellent location! All kinds of restaurants and amenities within walking distance. Only drawback no elevator, rooms are up some steep stairs. Not recommended for elderly or disabled. Otherwise felt like I was staying in a charming boutique hotel in Europe. "

The location is great and there’s always parking that’s accessible. It’s near a lot of outdoor activities as well as some nice bars and restaurants."

As a former San Francisco resident, I loved the neighborhood for its convenience to all my best-loved city spots, the quick access to the GGBridge, and the great dining spots in walking distance.
