Enjoyed our visit. We actually left early in the morning and arrived later in the evening, all in all everything was very pleasant. We had a very comfortable king size bed with an adjoining bathroom. I will no doubt stay again on my next visit.

We stayed one night at Sunny Island B&B in White Rock on July 31, 2026 for our Victoria vacation trip before driving back to Calgary. The room was very clean, and the owner was super kind and friendly. I highly recommend having breakfast here—you’ll enjoy a delicious homemade meal that feels just like something mom made at home :) It was a lovely and nice stay!

Owner was friendly and welcoming. I didn’t realize this unit had a shared bathroom, but it was no problem and very clean. The house was very quiet and I had a very good sleep. Had to leave early so can’t comment on breakfast.

Sunny and Island are a wonderful husband and wife team. They are excellent hosts. They welcomed me so warmly. My room was immaculate. The breakfast was a delight each morning. I couldn't have been more impressed.

Room was over priced for what it was. No tv in the room - the WIFI was basically non existent, bed was decently comfortable but the pillows were not. Room was hot and stuffy - no air conditioning and fan was too noisy to sleep with it on. In the Shower the “caddy for soaps” would fall off the wall if you bumped it wrong. The house was pretty and clean. The guy that check us in was nice.

We have stayed here several times and will again, when in the White Rock/Surrey area. The host/owners are lovely and go well out of their way to make certain guests feel comfortable and welcomed (and graciously accommodated inconvenient arrival/departure logistics). The gardens are wonderful, and breakfast outdoors is a lovely treat. Sunny Island is minutes away from some wonderful restaurants. We have enjoyed several takeout meals in a variety of locations on the property. Nothing but good to say, here! It has been consistently fab!

I enjoyed my stay. The king sized bed was comfortable, the bathroom with large and clean, and the room was also large. My only suggestion would be to have coffee/tea available in the room. It was a wonderful stay and an awesome experience, and highly recommended. We would definitely comeback. The owner is so kind and accommodating, he was incredibly responsive and very helpful throughout our stay. The home was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated.
