Very nice place to stay, my only (minor) complaint is the fobs/reader used to access the common areas, car park, lifts and room did not work very well which was a bit frustrating. Overall I would highly recommend the Rolling Surf Resort.

Great location with everything you want from Kings Beach at your doorstep. We would definitely stay again. All clean and had everything we needed. Pool is huge, could be warmer, has sun on it in the morning but covered in shade in the afternoon.

Property is great and located so close to the beach. Half of the pool is heated which was great for the kids. I was disappointed with the amenities provided in the apartment - for a week stay we were only given two tiny little cakes of soap for four people. Other than this, we had an amazing stay and would stay again but will be sure to bring more of our own supplies as the apartment wasn't as well equipped as we would have liked.

Perfect for our family with great sized rooms and so close to the beach. The pool was a big hit with the kids and great options for dining close by too. A fantastic few days away. Would definitely go back!

Great location, beautiful Ocean views, beautiful large swimming pool, large apartment, in room spa, restaurants and bars very close. Everything was perfect for our 3 night stay. We arrived late, after hours checking in was very easy. The communication from administrators was excellent. We would definitely stay there again if we return to the area.

Rolling Surf Resort is ideal for couples or families. Our apartment was a little dated, as are a lot of apartments in Caloundra. Very close to the beach cafes and surf club. Absolutely loved our stay.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom oceanview apartment ( no.8). From the moment we walked into the apartment it was fantastic! Clean, modern, huge in size with a beautiful view of the ocean. Whoever owns that apartment has absolutely thought of everything and obviously cares about their occupants. There was everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable. The fridge had an icemaker with cold filtered water. The pool is amazing, with an actual deep end of 2.7m which is rare in any resort/hotel pool. Great parking in the basement big enough for 2 cars side by side. The reception girls were lovely on check-in and check-out. Great to have restaurants/cafes under the resort. The beach is right there, a 2 min walk, no roads to cross. The entire 6 night stay was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back. Thank you to the owners of apartment 8 for providing such a lovely space.

Could easily have been a 5 star review, however: Positives: Amazing location Great apartment (poolside 2 bed was a brilliant set up) Negatives: Chlorine in the pool was off. My Husband and niece played in the pool and came out with super irritated eyes. We had to go and buy eye drops, and his face was super red and raw all evening. My rings also went black - luckily temporarily (having been in pools all round the world this hasn’t ever happened before). When we rang to inform them the gentleman did say he would recheck all the levels. Hopefully that got sorted quickly. The stay was very impersonal. The caretaker lady was not particularly friendly, and when we asked a question we were made to feel like Imbeciles. Even the reminder to check out letter that we got under the door basically said ‘make sure you check out by 10 and take your rubbish out’. I appreciate they are serviced apartments but it really did feel like the only thing you were paying for was the location (and it wasn’t a small amount!). There was a lovely blonde lady on reception who was really pleasant and helpful, she was at least nice to deal with during the stay.

We were supposed to stay here for a week but had nothing but problems and it got so bad we ended up just leaving a few days early and moving to a different property a few kms away! The property is older and rundown and the unit we were given had a bunch of issues. We paid for a 2 bedroom oceanfront apartment. If you select this option be sure to check where they are putting you because we were stuck right above the beach bars and right behind huge trees, so our “oceanfront” balcony was really just a view of trees and people eating/drinking all day and night. This also meant tons of noise at night making it impossible for my young kids to get to sleep before 10 or 11 each night. Our unit was supposed to have a jetted tub but it was broken upon arrival and they said they couldn’t get it fixed until our last day there! The dishwasher wouldn’t drain so they had to send maintenance to come look at it and turns out the drain was clogged with broken glass. We weren’t able to close the door to the kids bedroom because the twin beds are too long and block the doorway. One day we got locked out and our door key just stopped working completely. This apartment has a full kitchen but while cooking our first night we discovered there are no oven mitts provided so we had to go buy one. The biggest problem though, the one that made us leave early, was COCKROACHES! We found more and more each day and all they did was deliver us a can of Raid. After killing at least 30-40 we left.

Very comfortable stay. Very easy to access to the pool, from the pool can access the beach. Children loved the pool. We enjoyed walking around the beaches, we watched the sunrise and the sunset. Beautiful beaches, magnificent views. The resort room has cooking facilities and BBQ areas just downstairs. Very easy to find the shops & restaurants.

Pros: Perfect location at the beach and cafes Convenient pool access from the balcony Cons: Noticed on the first day, there were grains of sand in the bed and bedding linen had a damp smell to it. I needed to rewash and spin dry the linen. No other issues otherwise.

Small cupboard in main bedroom , very hard to hang clothes up. Room very dark. Need more light over kitchen table. Reception not overly friendly,very clean and spacious lounge and kitchen area, great position right on the beach

The units need upgrading. Lounge area is very uncomfortable with a 3 seater, tiles on the floor and NO RUG. We were 3 adults and a child watching a movie sitting straight up. Not impressed. Pool was not heated as per add. Very noisy neighbours with barking dogs, chairs scrapping on the tiles all night long.

Incredible stay at Rolling surf resort. Location is 👌. We had a 2bedroom pool view which also gave us a semi ocean view, everything you need in an apartment. Apartment was clean on arrival, checked in after hours and it was an easy after hours check in.
