We stayed at the Hotel Beach House/ Commercial Hotel in Nambour for 2 nights. The room was relatively comfortable and satisfied our requirements as we were attending a music festival on the Sunny Coast. Positives - reasonable price, close to Nambour amenities, on-site bar and bistro, friendly staff. Room for improvement - no on- site parking (only street parking close by), no kettle in our room, but tea and coffee provided! Unable to watch wall mounted TV unless you stood in front of it and if you like stains, then you'd love the room we had!

Room looked nothing like photos online. Hotel is not in a good area of town. Too many undesirables hanging around the street drunk, fighting etc.

Didn't like no appropriate parking for clients. The amount of steps to get to accommodation as I am disabled. No mention of the stairs when booking in event of people been disabled. Could bearly read in room as light was so dull. Lights above bed not working. No power point in bathroom. Not recommending accommodation

Well, there are so many things that could be upgraded in the room for a total cost of perhaps $80 or less per room! I would be happy to give my suggestions to management, for free! The rooms could be SO improved SO easily!!!

The worst, most disgusting room we have ever seen. Looked at it, stayed 15 minutes & handed back the keys...waste of petrol & time. DO NOT GO!

Toilet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a year, bed was dreadfully uncomfortable, drunk & loud people both in the corridors & outside. I’ve stayed in far better for far less. I’ll sleep in my car before I stay there again

Property was Central and handy to everything. Property was old and a little run down but kept nice and clean. Motel is attached to pub and bistro so can be a bit rough at times.

We picked Nambour as a base for hiking in surrounding areas. Hotel Beach House Nambour staff were great Britney was so lovely & very helpful, central location & down stairs eating area looked nice. I would not recommend staying here with children though it’s definitely not for family or kids. Our room was very old and worn it could definitely be painted & renovated. Perfect for a weekend away with the boys on the booze.

The room they had for us lost key then gave us room with bathroom sink blocked. Room was dirty, jug still had water in it. Test tag on jug well over due 2016. People running up and down isle ways slamming doors. Needs to be refurbished big time fridge still dirty. Overall not worth $105 a night. Who ever cleans sack them or pay them more!

Staff were friendly. However, our room still had a dirty towel in the shower tray which we didn't discover until we had a shower. Also the fridge had food left in it from the previous occupant. We didn't realise we had a air conditioner as it was behind the single bed. We had no sleep because it was extremely hot and we had to have the window and curtain open which allowed a very noisy industrial air conditioning unit to be heard as well as street lights into our room. We were there for 1 night stop over in front of a long journey and had very little sleep.

Not a great experience.
While the people are lovely, the room is very run down - no working lights in the bathroom, lots of broken tiles, extremely loud and very old air con. The noise from the cold room from the bottle shop below kept us awake all night. I very nearly asked for my money back.

We try to find car parking - none We had paid for the accomodation prior based on the photo We arrived ,asked to see the rooms and left and got accomodation else where. Be great to get our money back

Awesome stay
Checked in by friendly staff whom showed us around and eventually our room which was tidy and spacious. Nice view of the hills close by. Surprisingly quiet being in the middle of town and just off main street.
