"Room was not ready when i showed up at 4:30pm, housekeeper wanted to argue with front desk staff about processes, they charged me regular room rate in addition to using all my expedia credits and paying the difference through expedia app. Came back over an hour later, room still not ready. Room smelled like cigarette smoke, elevator was scary. Breakfast was good! I dont know if they are fixing the full room charge or i paid $47, used all my expedia points plus the $117 they carged for a room...

"This is a very unique, historic hotel overlooking the scenic banks of the Ohio River. The room was cozy, clean and very comfortable. I also appreciated the second-floor balcony, which provided a lovely view of the river, as well as the complementary tea/coffee supplies. I highly recommend this traditional hotel, especially for history lovers and explorers in search of memorable experiences!"
