"If there were one word to describe my stay, it would be “Perfect”. From the full windowed rooms which view is right to the beautiful lake to the wonderful staff at the hotel, the whole experience was amazing. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Location is also great near the shopping street. The staff were very friendly and smiling and event went an extra mile to help me and my family when we were having some trouble with purchasing HSR tickets.

"Had two lovely nights here and cannot fault the cleanliness or the friendly service. Breakfast was an added bonus and the location was superb - right in the heart of the market but so quiet. We could walk or bus / boat to anywhere we wanted easily. Highly recommend and would love to visit again one day. "
"This property was incredibly lovely. It is well outfitted and conveniently located. Everything is nice, new and sparkling clean. The host goes out of her way to make sure all you could possibly want is taken care of. Breakfast is varied and delicious. The best coffee I’ve had in Taiwan. It is within steps of the boat landing, the bike route and the cable car to the Formosa Village. The charm of this little hotel made going to Sun Moon Lake all the better. "

"This was a very cute cat themed B&B. When we were there they had 7 cats! the cats were all very friendly and we did not notice any smells or problems with them.
The morning food was delicious.
The area is safe but if walking from the bus stop along the main road you'll need to be careful when you have all of your luggage as the street vendors can take up the entire sidewalk and the road can be somewhat busy.
The local restaurants close somewhat early so plan on going to dinner by 5 to have more...
