"Wir kamen von einer Radtour im Regen sehr nass zurück. Uns wurde sofort ein sehr warmer Trockenraum für all unsere Sachen angeboten, die am nächsten Tag komplett trocken waren. Das Diner- und Frühstücksbuffet hatten eine große Auswahl und es war sehr lecker. Einzig das Bad war renovierungsbedürftig."

"Driving into Hjelle through the lakeside tunnel was magical. This repurposed schoolhouse was a fantastic place to experience old-world Norwegian living. Loved the nook beds and touches of history. The modern bath and kitchen were integrated well. The property manager was kind and helpful - he let us know when the early snowfall unexpectedly closed down the mountain pass. Was a great site to just relax and enjoy!"

"Classic mountain hotel overlooking the fjord. We traveled here with our 7 year old daughter in July 2026 and were able to rent a room with a small extra room for her which was really nice. View is incredible, staff is very friendly, and the restaurant has a great dinner & breakfast. Also this hotel is the only one in the area to preserve the original structure of the old hotel.
