"We loved this place. The room was spacious, the bed was big and comfortable, and there was a refrigerator. The breakfast was great, as was the staff. The carpet was pretty worn on the stairs and halls, but everything else was in pretty good shape. We did have to park in the NCP parking lot a few blocks away, but that was no problem. And the location was wonderful-- for most of the Shakespeare activities, for the market, for the theater, and for great restaurants and stores. We would stay there...

"Staff very friendly, courteous and helpful from the front desk, bar/restaurant to the service staff. Excellent location directly opposite the RSC and close to the others plus Waterside, shops and Old Town."

"What a fabulous place ,quite breathtaking on approach to the hotel .Staff were very friendly and helpful,we were given an upgrade so that was a lovely surprise and the room didn't disappoint.We had dinner there on our first night which was super. Would definitely stay there again ...in fact have recommended it already to friends who are looking to stay in the next 6 months "

"Really enjoyed our little overnighter here. Absolutely stunning building. Nice size room with high ceiling in gorgeous Tudor style. Bed comfy nice bedding. Read some bad reviews but was pleasantly surprised. Yes the carpet is a little old and the chair by the window but it’s all part of the charm. Large modern bathroom. Only negative was a little dust on the windowsills nothing to ruin a lovely comfy night sleep and lovely staff at check in too"
