Spotless. Beautiful rooms, welcoming staff. Good value for money, particularly considering the alternatives in Stratford-upon-Avon. Naming the rooms after wine producers, instead of numbers, it is a nice touch given the name of the hotel. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed Hotel Du Vin in Stratford Upon Avon. The staff were lovely, the hotel very pleasant, clean and quiet. It felt safe due to only being able to access the upper floors with your security card. I was a bit delayed in getting back for my dinner (9pm) and the staff were very accommodating of this. The breakfast was very tasty and well made. All the staff I interacted with were pleasant and helpful.

Our room had unpleasant smell and the sink in the bathroom was blocked. We reported that but no action was taken and we were not offered a different room. A very limited choice of food for breakfast, no plain yogurt or cheese, undercooked croissants and green bananas. Staff generally cold and uninterested. After reading reviews our expectations were high. Won’t be staying there again.

Charming and an amazing staff. The people in reception helped us book cabs for theatre (I have limited mobility) and helped arrange car service to Heathrow when we wanted to change our plans. Mary, in the dining room, for breakfast and lunch, is a hoot and very sweet. Okay, so the guest elevator broke down, they had no problem taking me up and down the service elevator, which was closer to our room anyway.

This is quite a stylish place. It's certainly secure with key card access to upper floors. Room was spacious. Bed was a little soft for my taste. There was a good choice of cooked options for breakfast - certainly more than the usual 'full English'. We'd certainly stay here again.

Really beautiful hotel but unfortunately it was let down by a few things. When we arrived we parked in one of the allotted bays for hotel guests, we were checked in by the receptionist who was abrupt and stuck up, she asked us where we had parked and we were told we had to move as those spaces had been reserved by other guests who were out visiting family and friends. I’m sorry but I am a paying customer and if you leave your parking space that’s not my issue. We had to then search for a tiny space in the local car park and paid £15 for the privilege. We paid extra for a balcony room and when we went onto the balcony we were overlooking the Police Station car park, so I wouldn’t recommend bothering with an upgrade. We didn’t eat in the restaurant, but had drinks in the bar, the service in here was fantastic. Friendly and efficient member of staff and he was on his own and the bar got quite busy. We had breakfast the next morning because I thought it was included but it wasn’t, £44 for poached egg on toast and a full English, such a rip off. Would highly recommend two restaurants that are close by, Turquoise Kitchen is a stunning Turkish restaurant, fantastic service and excellent food. We also ate at Loxleys, beautiful building with fantastic service and amazing food. Wouldn’t stay at this hotel again though, feel it has a lot of potential but it’s trying to be something it’s not.

It was a pleasant stay, but we were unable to take advantage of the roll top bath as there was only lukewarm water available for the bath. The shower however had water as hot as you wanted. We did let them know but it was the same the following day. Also there was a problem with little flies in the room.

Had a lovely impromptu stay after a cancelled flight left us with time off and nowhere to go, so we booked this on a whim -really glad we did. The half board was such great value for money and we had a lovely relaxing stay. Great location for exploring the town, and the parking outside, whilst not cheap at £15, was actually worth doing as there was nothing else long stay that we could find nearby. Excellent cocktails from the bar, and the staff were all super friendly and attentive. Will definitely return to another Hotel du Vin next time we get the chance.

Great location with easy access by foot to shops, pubs and restaurants. Room was lovely and big with the only downside being the AC couldn’t go lower than 19 degrees. Definitely recommend and would happily stay again
