Booked a twin bedded room via Expedia several weeks ago.Phoned Proprietor to introduce myself, to be told glad I had phoned as a dbl bed had been booked for me/friend and Expedia continually making mistake. PANIC- as all things planned for friend's birthday, but proprietor said he could offer Family room for more £. Phoned Expedia, did you know they have no office in UK? 23min conversation and they did not believe me, and said definitely a twin bedded room, then another 14mins whilst they phoned proprietor.Still no offer of paying difference.Interestingly the Family room had a dbl bed and single in, but room was so tight you could not get to the inbuilt wardrobe in the corner unless moved beds around, yet if had been twin single beds this would not have been a problem. SO - has this room been changed and company not updated? Who cares about informing the paying guest in advance of this, should this Proprietor have contacted Expedia and pointed out mistake so they could inform me with plenty of notice.?
