"I had wanted to go to Mackinac Island for years and finally had the opportunity to do so this year. The front porch of the motel with its cool breeze and rocking chairs provided a beautiful view of the Lake and ships out in the water. The fire pits on the lawn were awesome at night as we sat around and talked with other guests of the motel. The room was clean, the staff was exceptional, and the breakfast was great. We plan to return."

"This is just an ok motel on the side of a busy roadway. Close to the ferry docks to Mackinac island Decent food nearby. Room was ok and bed comfortable for the price. My lower rating was based on exterior of building and property maintenance. Would stay again if in area"

"Room was clean and comfortable at a good price. The person who checked us in was friendly and helpful. In room amenities included plenty of usb plugin’s. We came in the evening and checked out before 10 am. If you are looking for a modern place this is not it. The rooms have pine paneling and it feels a little dark. It was perfect for our one night stay in mid September."

"Our stay at Breakers was great. The staff was so pleasant and helpful. The shuttle picked us up in the morning and took us to the ferry for Mackinac Island. Nice easy process.The room had a lake view and it was a beautiful day for taking in the beautiful beach. The room was a bit tired looking. Slow draining sink and shower. Patio door was beat up, could use a new handle. The price was good and we would stay again due to the wonderful helpful staff. We ate pizza at the beach in the evening and enjoyed the bonfire and amazing northern stars. The outdoor bar was very convenient."

"Excellent choice staying at The Quality Inn Lakefront. The front desk staff was extremely helpful when we needed to navigate where we wanted to visit during our stay. The rooms all have a wonderful view of Lake Huron and are large. We recommend requesting to stay on the third floor. We were on the second floor and could hear water running and some noise from above us. The rooms are well designed and have a balcony overlooking the lake."
