"The cabins have so much potential with making it nicer . I believe we stayed at a newer two story “ “accessibility” cabin. Which the only thing accessible was the bathroom entry. There was no way a wheel chair could go up the stairs or into a small room with tall beds. The floors were super dirty and honestly not sure if they were ever mopped. My kids feet were black with in the first 10 minutes of walking around. There’s spiders everywhere! The webs are so bad! There’s may flies dead all over...

"The cleaning and dining staff was very friendly and helpful. Some of the check in/front desk staff was extremely helpful and others were completely clueless. Luck of the draw. Overall the staff kept the place clean however the hotel itself has seen better days. The lobby intermittently smelled as if they had a sewage backup and our room has a very musty/moldy smell to it."

"Promising but outdated. The room was small and crowded. It seemed very dusty and dirty. It looked like it was decorated in the 90s. The bed was uncomfortable, though the pillows were nice and soft. The tub was relaxing. The bathroom floor was gross. The patio door was loud and hard to open, as it stuck a lot."

"The stay was fun and relaxing There is no breakfast there but they have coffee available all the time and vending machines for snacks and ice makers Balcony was not swept out well Hot tub was small no jets and pool was not very inviting Loved there was extra blankets in each room and the lighted mirror"

"Not what pictures portray. Living in Michigan my entire life I think all of mackinaw city has depleted in cleanliness and price gauging. We booked a “superior room” which means nothing like the photos. We were told it’s just a standard queen with a water view balcony. The room was so dirty.. mold in the shower on the ceilings, stains on the sheets, filthy lampshades. The lady at the front desk was as nice as she could be and the manager moved us over one room.. slight cleanliness improvement as...
