"The hotel is not large, and whilst our room was clean and well maintained, was on the small side. The owner, who manned the reception desk and the bar, was quite a congenial, chatty guy. Breakfast was part of the tariff, & we were offered a choice of cooked options. We eat dinner at the Drumberg, the ownerโ€™s wife cooked up โ€˜haggis neeps and tattiesโ€, which were pretty good. Best feature of the hotel was the bar area, a cosy place where the hotel guests gathered to chat in the evening. Overall I recommend the Drumbeg Hotel as a small boutique hotel on the beautiful North Coast 500 road."

"Stayed in a twin room which came with a sink and shared bathroom facilities. Lovely location. The staff were very friendly and there was lots of information on local walking routes. Well stocked shop and a nice simple breakfast which we hadn't expected."

"We pitched up on a dull afternoon and were delighted with our room. Spacious and with a bathroom with a bath. The chef was sick so we decided having a few options to have some food in the room and enjoy the tv. A nice tray was brought up with soup and cold meats focaccia etc. All very nice in the circumstances."

"Very lovely stay in the pod. It was clean and cozy and comfortable. We did not receive the instructions for how to check in but contacted the host and solved the problem. It was stressful because there is very little internet access in that area. The beautiful beach is a short walk away."
