We received communication detailing where to go to check in and other vital info. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was great, food was good. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable. The location is safe. My husband and I were only there one night and were super satisfied. Absolutely recommend.

The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Lovely view over the loch. The owners are friendly and hospitable. Breakfast was very good. All in all a great stopover. Great value. I’d definitely stay again.

This was a great find. The owners were very welcoming, warm and friendly. The evening meals were super. I can recommend the venison burger, chilli and scampi. Room was lovely. Bed very comfy.

A lovely welcome. Clean, comfortable accommodation. Excellent facilities in the rooms. Great evening meal. Amazing views and very peaceful. Would thoroughly recommend and would definitely return.

The views around the motel were stunning. The rooms were clean, cozy and comfy! And the food at the restaurant were first rate!

Wir hatten 1 Nacht gebucht. Die Begrüßung war sehr herzlich und wir würden mit allen Infos versorgt. Es wurde angeboten dort Abendessen und Frühstück ab 8 Uhr zu nehmen. Das große Zimmer hatte 2 Betten, 2 Sessel, kleinen TV, der nur bedingt funktionierte. Kleine Küche mit Kühlschrank, Herd, Wasserkocher. Leider nur Mini Kochgeschirr. Bad einfach, alles sauber. Elektroheizung. Abends haben wir festgestellt, dass wir das Zimmer nicht abschließen können. Für eine Übernachtung in Ordnung.

We booked via Expedia where there was no mention that you can't check in after 9pm. We got there at 9:30pm. The woman working there very rudely informed me that check in time was at 9. I apologized PROFUSELY but she remained ANGRY and rude. She said something about various notices having mentioned the check in time. I told her I had not seen it. I specifically avoided booking any airbnbs because of issues like this, and because this was a "motel" I figured we would be ok to check in so long as it wasn't that late. Like I said, we arrived at 9:30pm, which for any "motel" would be reasonable. But the main point is that this was an honest mistake on my part but she remained rude. After she gave the key to our room, after about 30 seconds, my husband went back to the office to ask a question but she did not open the door. On top of that, she never gave us any wifi information (it was not written somewhere in the room). Instead, there is a sign telling you rules like where to put your shoes, instructions for what to do at checkout, that checkout is at 10am, etc. In other words, just more unfriendliness. The room itself was clean except there was a big spider web with a spider, in the doorway to the bathroom. Also, at certain times of the day the swarms of biting midges attack (a problem in the Highlands at certain hours). We couldn't open the window for that reason and of course no AC or fan, so it was stuffy. Horrible stay.

Very welcoming, Sue and Craig were great hosts and did everything to make my stay relaxed and enjoyable, I only had one night unfortunately, as I was on a tight schedule.

I was much taken by the general cosiness engendered by both the appointments and the proprietor/trix. The cleanliness of the room will satisfy those of the most fastidious nature and the food, whilst simple, was most excellently prepared and presented. It was a pleasure to discourse in the bar with the proprietor(s) whose range of interests and experiences made for excellent company. It is my true hope that circumstances will lead me to stay again.

호수 옆에 있어 경치가 좋습니다. 직원들도 친절합니다. 샤워기 작동법을 몰랐는데, 천장에 달린 끈을 잡아당겨야 합니다. 현관문을 잠그려면 손잡이를 위로 한번 밀어올린 후 문 안쪽 레버를 돌리거나 바깥에서 열쇠를 돌려 잠가야합니다.

Beautiful place to stay

From the moment we checked in we felt at home. The hosts are a lovely couple. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The little pub next to the ge rooms also owned by the motel hosts is gorgeous. The food was also amazing. Just 20 mins outside ullapool. The landscape is beautiful where the property is situated. We can't wait to come back. Thank you for a lovely stay
