"The staff can't do anything about the seaweed onslaught, however they could have done a better job on clearing the small beach area of the nasty stuff. The one attendant there working on it could have used some help. Another let down was that we were on a second floor with no elevator. It would have been okay if someone at least would have been available to help with luggage at checkout. The button of the phone for service got no one. We tried several times with no luck. So I carried all of luggage down the steps and across the parking lot. In general prices thee are too high, but that's the case in most of Key West. I've stayed at better Florida resorts for less money. Personally it just a matter of affordability. We may return on a special occasion one day."

"Great secluded vacation respite. Oceanside property with four individual pools for guest use that are secluded within lush native landscape. Restaurant was ‘serviceable’ and certainly convenient. Many excellent restaurant choices in Key West. Bar was fun. Shuttle service is available to activities and ride share is viable and reliable and you can be any where on the island within 15 minutes."

"I had heard about this amazing hotel form a coworker who raved about The Laureate Hotel so I had to inquire. Boy was I absolutely satisfied. I came for my boyfriend’s birthday to get away and relax. From the helpful staff and efficient check in process I was sure to have an amazing experience. The room was amazing, spacious, clean and homie. The bed was luxurious and the view was amazing. Defiantly a must stay if you’re ever in Key West."
