"The pictures online were a little misleading as I expected more than a standard small hotel room on par with most hotels in the US. But the staff, breakfast, bar and toiletries were wonderful! The front desk was awesome about holding our luggage while we roamed. The showers and hot water were great, as my husband was sick for a day and used them excessively. The room was quiet, even next to a lift. The pool outside is warm and not hard to find, but wasn't really luxurious. The gym right downstairs was cool. I did not see a hot tub as listed. The place was updated and clean, and the location was convenient but probably not worth what we paid. I don't think I would've booked it having seen it in person, but compared to our next hotel... this one was 5 stars. Live and learn."

"We stayed at Ruby Hotel for four nights. The hotel is comfortable and located a little outside the city center. However, you can easily reach the main attractions with a slightly longer walk or a short taxi ride. The neighborhood is lovely and pleasant. One thing that makes this hotel unique, and something I had never seen before, is that the reception area is actually a 24/7 bar that also provides service to hotel guests. It’s a very interesting concept! One thing to keep in mind is that some of the hotel’s rooms are located in two separate buildings outside the main hotel. You can access these rooms either internally, which requires a longer walk, or directly from outside. We used the outside entrance for three days and only took the internal route once. Overall, we had a comfortable stay. However, if I were to stay here again, I would definitely request a room in the same building as the main lobby."
Hu Firenze Camping In Town

"It was a really nice experience staying at Hu Firenze. It was away from the hustle and bustle of the city and the main tourist areas, while a bus stop right across the street made it easy to get to the city centre. We also got to enjoy a bit of the Tuscan countryside experience. The only issue was that there is another Hu campsite called Hu Certosa, so you need to be careful not to book the wrong one, especially when travelling in a group and everyone is booking separately. This happened to us, but fortunately, the staff allowed my brother to stay with us since our accommodation had an extra bed. However, we had already paid for a tent at Hu Certosa. My recommendation would be to start breakfast earlier than 7:30 a.m. This would allow guests to leave at different times and help avoid long queues at the bus stop."

"A cute boutique hotel with close proximity to the old city in Florence. We appreciated the friendly staff, the included apertivo each evening and breakfast spread. The room was sufficiently comfortable but don’t expect much from the AC."

"We stayed at the Hoxton before we headed out to Tuscany for our wedding weekend. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, and the property itself was beautiful with a great location, it was a little bit more on the outskirts of the city center, which we are used to staying in when we travel to Florence, but we liked how quiet and secluded it was and the design of the property was really well done. We enjoyed the coffee bar downstairs and the Photo Booth in the lobby and the outdoor courtyard/bar area was a great meeting point for us and friends who were getting into town for wedding festivities. We would recommend staying at the Hoxton and look forward to future stays in other cities and hopefully Florence again."
