"We loved this place and were so grateful for the amenities for our dogs. The staff was very helpful. My only wish is that I knew I could not leave my dogs unattended, even in their crates, in the room so that we could go to dinner. I get people want quiet but we eat early and did not intend to be gone long. They were booked their first night and were worried about barking so I get it. We were able to work out a deal our second night and I don't think anyone noticed. Maybe a policy for early nights for weary travelers? Just a suggestion! Otherwise, we would 100 percent stay again! And I don't say that often!"

"It is a camping cabin. No frills. Pool was closed as it was end of season. Place was clean but don't expect room service! Haha. My only complaint was that there are fire pits in rather dark places. Have to be careful in the dark. Otherwise it was just what I expected. When my plans changed,the Manager was very helpful and I was able to cancel the rest of my stay with no problems."

"The property was obviously older and in need of some upgrade work However, the mgt and/or staff "seemed" to be trying hard to improve things. Also he drove down from an offsite location to do a late check-in for us. All the amenities were functional, the main thing I observed was subpar cleanliness of some items (towels, bedding, etc.). I'm guessing either they are having trouble obtaining sufficient staff, or perhaps the manager is trying to do the work alone. So couldn't call it my "first choice" for staying in Cortez, but it was there when we needed it (and didn't have to fight with elevators or long flights of stairs, which is very difficult for my spouse to deal with)."
