The hotel is relatively new and, thus, all of the facilities are pretty new and modern. The people in the Hotel are very friendly, especially, Wesley (I hope I don't misspell his name) picked up my wife and me from Steenwirk train station. Although it has only a distance of one mile, it means great help if you have luggage and the taxi system is not very good in the city. You should try to call the hotel if you have luggage and they will help to pick up you.

The staff was wonderful; they offered assistance finding activities in the area and were helpful with any questions we had. The bed was comfortable and the food was quite tasty.

Breakfast very limited. There’s no restaurant or bar in the hotel as stated in the description. Otherwise staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and nice.

An sich eine wirklich schöne, kleine Unterkunft, die gut gelegen ist. Allerdings hatte ich ein Zimmer zur Straßenseite im Erdgeschoss, neben dem Frühstücksraum. Entsprechend laut war es nachts und morgens leider. Erholsamer Schlaf leider nicht möglich. Das Frühstück ist minimalistisch, aber in Ordnung.

Prima ontvangst. Ruime parkeerplaats. Afgesloten fietsenstalling. In onze kamer op de begane grond en aan het fietspad gelegen, hing geen vitrage. Je hebt dus geen privacy. De doucheruimte was maar voor de helft afgesloten door een scherm, waardoor tijdens het douchen de vloer in de badkamer ook nat en glad wordt. Bij het bed is het handig als er aparte leeslampjes zouden zijn. Nu gingen de lampjes aan beide kanten tegelijk branden. Bed is ruim en goed. Ontbijt goed.

Mooi hotel, maar alles net niet...
Bij binnenkomst in de kamer is het raar dat het bed bijna tegen het raam staat en aan de andere kant nog veel ruimte is, dus het kon echt wel verplaatst worden. Nu niet want de nachtkastjes stonden er en er hingen lampen boven. Zuinig met zeepjes. Toilet trok niet door. Het ontbijtbuffet (toch extra €) was heel karig. Zeker zijn geld niet waard. Ok waren de kamers zeer gehorig.

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt an der Autobahnauffahrt und ist im Gewerbegebiet. Der Stadtkern ist aber fußläufig in ca. 20 Minuten erreichbar. Es ist trotzdem sehr ruhig, so dass man abends gemütlich im Außenbereich sitzen kann und auch gut schlafen kann. Die Zimmer sind in schwarz/weiß eingerichtet. Hat mir gut gefallen. Bett und Kissen sind traumhaft gewesen. Das Servicepersonal relativ jung und locker - hat mir auch sehr gefallen. Das Frühstück ist sehr spartanisch, aber man wird satt. Im Zimmer gibt es Tee und Wasserkocher und eine Nespresso Maschine mit jeweils vier Kapseln, die auch aufgefüllt worden sind. Alles in allem war ich persönlich sehr zufrieden.

vriendelijke ontvangst. Bij navraag of ze nog fietsen te huur hadden, konden we 2 e-bikes huren. Tijdens ons gesprek vertelde we dat we ze alleen wilde gebruiken om naar t centrum te fietsen, naar t restaurant. De eigenaar bood de fietsen uit zijn eigen voor de helft van de huurprijs aan. Hele goede e-bikes. De kamers was niet echt groot, maar mooi, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Echt goede bedden en een heerlijke douche.

This is the best hotel and service ever!
Best service ever! I’m staying between 100-150 nights at hotel every year in several countries and different hotels. This is the coziest, best hotel and best service I’ve ever experienced! So kind, tailor-maid breakfast and fantastic quality!!

Hier voel je je thuis!
Spontane gastvrijheid en vriendelijk. Fijn restaurant in Steenwijk werd gereserveerd. Uit de zak van de Piet kreeg ik een lekkere chocolade letter. Heerlijk ontbijt. Hier kom ik graag terug!

Gemotiveerde staff. Alles nieuw, faciliteiten op kamer uitstekend -koffie, thee op de kamer, voldoende stopkontakten, leuk en goed ingericht. Schoon.Ligt dicht bij grote weg, dus geschikt voor werkstops of korte stops op doorreis.
