Reception staff were excellent with recommendations on everything from nearby supermarkets, sites to see and restaurants to eat at. Location is superb, short walk to central Madrid. "The apartment was spotless although it is only convenient if you have a reason to be in this area of Madrid, not for tourism. The elevator didn't work when I arrived, which was inconvenient (only had to haul luggage one flight of stairs). The shower is amazing!"

"Room was clean and comfortable, housekeeping excellent, breakfast very good, front desk staff could try to be a bit more helpful and not as abrupt with their answers. e.g. "Could you call me a taxi? ..Taxi out there." "You owe for breakfasts. ...I paid when I arrived....No.... Let me check- oh I see ok" Some of this is a lost in translation problem but the effect is to make the customer feel like they are annoying the staff."

"Debod hostels was great ecspecially as a last minute booking. the staff was attentive and very accommodating. They cleaned everyday and maintained the property very well. Everyone staying was very assimilating to hostel life whether it was quiet time or not or out right just generous in helping with what you needed . I would definitely book again in advance. It is close to things you may eant to do on that side of town or not."

"Toutes les personnes que j’ai vu arrivé sans qu’une membre du personnel n’ai été présent a eu beaucoup de difficulté avec le système de Check innsurhomstique. Pas pratique quand ti es seul.e, tard et coincé dehors. La chambre « femmes uniquement » de 8 personnes est beaucoup trop étroite, trop petite pour 8 personnes et n’a aucun air. La chambre est au sous sol et il n’est pas possibles douvrir la fenêtre pour avoir de l’air. Ok pour une ou deux nuit, mais il ne fait pas d’attendre de une...
