"Make sure that you are assigned an uneven room number at check in! All the even number rooms face the University avenue and it is very noisy! To a point that the hotel leaves "noise reduction kit" in the rooms... Rooms are relatively small. Nice location in the heart of Palo Alto. The ratio price / quality of sleep is not what we expected, we will not return and rather book a cheaper hotel if it is to sleep above a noisy street..."

"The room was nice enough and very clean, but upon entering it had a very strong chemical smell. Fortunately the windows open, so we kept the window open all night to air out the room. Unfortunately our room was situated close to El Camino Real, so it was quite noisy all night long. (The noise was tolerable when the window was closed—-but since we elected to keep it open because of the smell…) We didn’t have breakfast, as we had a very early appointment the next morning at Stanford. The staff was friendly upon check/check out. All in all an okay (not great) hotel."
