"Why 3 stars? Well it comes down to the WC being next to the bed and we were in a large room. Great if you’re on your own but I’m certain your partner will not appreciate the noise and smells that your morning routine will create! The rest of the hotel is 5*. Great staff but it’s no good having the toilet basically right next to the sleeping end of the bed!"

"One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in in London. The superior room we had felt very new and was immaculately clean. The bed was so comfortable with amazing linen and the shower was excellent. It was a special occasion my partners birthday and the hotel looked after us very well with sparkling wine and chocolates in the room on arrival. Will definitely visit again"

"I will be kind and start with the pros. The room was quiet and very dark. We slept well. It’s one of the quietest hotels I’ve ever been in. It was a great contrast from the city. The cons. 15 euros to hold each bag if you arrive early. We requested an early check in for 40 euros, but we waited a half an hour before they told us they didn’t have a room for us. And we still had to pay the bag drop off fee to finally leave and see the city. Poor service. Dirty carpet in the hallways but the room was clean. Very minimalistic, which is nice to the eye, but inconvenient for traveling. Not even a towel to use as a bath mat. One hand towel and two bath towels for our two person room. No tissue. No shelf to sit anything on. No extra room. No phone to call down to the front desks. No front desk. If you’re okay with absolutely NO bells and whistles and you just want a quiet room to lay your head you can make this work. If you want a dry towel to land your feet on so you don’t flood the bathroom, look somewhere else."

"Perfect location just up from King's Cross. Staff polite and helpful. Had a couple cocktails 1 night and they were very nice. Didn't eat here so can't comment on food. Very quiet inside the room despite being opposite a pub. All I would say is maybe the room would if benefited from a wall mirror in the bedroom part. Also the carpet was very threadbare in 1 part of the room (243)but it was in the corner which is random as I can't imagine it getting foot traffic there. All in all enjoyed our 2night stay."
