"First off, we end up killing two flying roaches during our stay. Secondly, the phone was out the entire stay. I had to contact front desk via cell. Thirdly, we had no WIFI the first day. We finally got it the last stay. Also, no cable until the last day. View was nice from balcony. I would also point out that front desk could be more attentive and inviting. Maybe my expectations are too high being a Marriott Owner."

"I love staying at the Ritz in st Thomas. More than anything we enjoy the employees. They are always helpful and make the trip worth it. I traveled there 2 years ago and I noticed several cut backs and things that they could improve on. For instance the serve the same food every single day for breakfast potatoes, bacon/sausage and eggs. They need to add pancakes and French toast because the food gets boring. "So we were disappointed. It was not as expected from the pictures. Let me start by saying, it is a great location for restaurants, shopping and if you’re going to use the ferry, which is across the street. However, the hotel is very old and it’s run down. You can tell they tried to renovate some things. The pool was clean. Our room looked ok nothing fancy, but the floors were filthy! Our sink was clogged.
