"Room is clean and spacious, modern"

"During a 6 day stay our room was never cleaned, despite stopping daily to ask the front desk if they could please clean our room. The carpet was so dirty and it felt sticky. There was also a 2" cockroach on the wall that we had to kill. When I confronted the front desk on the fourth day of our stay - they apologized and said they didn't have enough help to take care of our room. They offered some snacks from the store - but all we wanted was our room cleaned up. This was a terrible place...

"The property is very disgusting, especially the back side where we stayed. Other guests just all hangout with their doors open and dogs running in and out. Our dogs were on leash but these other dog owners didn't care what their dog was doing. As we were walking to our room we saw the biggest nastiest roach on the stairs just greeting anyone who walks up. "I called Expedia and told them I would not stay at the hotel because it was so awful and dirty. The door did not have a proper lock on it and no dead-bolt lock in a very dangerous neighborhood. The property was supposed to have a pool, but the pool was drained. Holes were in the bathroom door. "Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing. The room had a strong sewer-like odor throughout my visit, which significantly affected my comfort. When I reported the issue, the resolution process was frustrating and time-consuming. I had to speak with three different staff members before a satisfactory solution was provided.
