"We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is excellent, right on the beach and in the heart of St. Lawrence Gap. It’s extremely walkable, with tons of restaurants, bars, and local shops just steps away.
The hotel itself was very nice, clean, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The bar staff were especially great, and we loved having food and drink service available right on the beach. You can literally walk out of the hotel and be on the sand in seconds.
One downside for us was the hot water. The hotel uses solar-heated water, so on cloudy days or when there hasn’t been much sun, hot water is lacking. We ended up having many cold showers during our stay.
We stayed in a penthouse suite, which was awesome with a full kitchen, 3 balconies, overlooking the beach and lots of space. There was only one other annoying issue which was the upstairs bathroom ventilation. There was a louvered, open window in the bathroom that could not be closed. It let in a lot of hot outside air and the bathroom was extremely hot and uncomfortable to use.
One other item to mention, the bar has live music every night and our room was next to the bar. The music was so loud, overwhelming and truly annoying in our room.
Those issues aside, we really liked this hotel. The beachfront location, friendly staff, cleanliness, and convenience to everything in St. Lawrence Gap made it a great place to stay. I would stay here again!"
