The pool is small given the size of the property. There is a swim beach nearby, but not within waking distance if you've got small kids.
The area around the hotel is lovely & there's a grocery across the street if you need anything. On-site convenience shop is expensive ($7 for a regular size candy bar). Many of the restaurants in this area are on the pricier side, so if you have a tighter budget and a car, suggest driving a few miles to eat."
