"The hotel is a comfortable one, with friendly and helpful staff. My room had all the usual amenities. I have stayed before, when a major plus was a very good breakfast using local produce. It was therefore disappointing to discover that the hotel no longer does breakfast at all."

"This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Amthweight Hall, the accommodation was excellent, as was the staff, they couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast was 10 out of 10, and again, very helpful, as my wife wanted her coffee a paticular temperature, and strength, they bent over backwards to make her perfect cup of coffee !! "Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. All staff were very friendly making for a relaxing stay. Evening meal was was also very nice ( I had the pie both nights, highly recommended) wine a bit on pricy side but I enjoyed it all the same!"

"The 3 course meal was al a carte status, excellent made by chef/ owner. Lovely bedrooms and v clean and owners very welcoming. Lovely views and walks nearby. For children the wildlife park is worth a visit nearby. "
