"Very clean , comfortable room and Inn. Staff, Lisa and Penny couldn’t have been nicer, helping with our trip to Cumberland Island with packed lunch in a lunchbox. If you’ve never had a claw foot tub, like me, a little challenging to get in and out of. An issue with the hot water in our room, that oddly seemed better later in morning after breakfast. Beds tall and comfortable, though my husband prefers a bit firmer mattress. We celebrated a friend’s birthday there, and Lisa put her special touch...

"I think the best part was the vintage look and feel as it is over 100 years old. I also like the location for access to the Cumberland Island NP. All of the front desk staff was great and they held cold items for me in the frig. However, the split unit in the room is oversized for the volume it needs to condition which leads to a problem called short cycle where the unit can cool but it can't extract the moisture so it feels "clammy." Also, there is no window screen so you can't open the window....

"Wonderful place that makes you feel at home! Beautiful rooms, located within walking distance to shopping, the river, and fantastic restaurants. Our hostess was so accommodating, she provided amazing breakfasts and afternoon snacks and wine. We will return!"

"Room was clean. Showers worked well. Beds were comfortable and firm. Standard Continental breakfast with waffles, scrambled eggs and bacon and sausage. Cereal, etc. Easy location and price right off the freeway. "

"Our room was very clean. We did have to call and ask for our garbage to be collected from our room, but it was handled quickly. Complementary bikes were available as well as a shuttle for use on the island. We did not use the shuttle service, but my son did use a bike once. We are dinner in the bar/restaurant the first night, and our food was excellent. We also had an amazing sunrise view over the marsh each morning! I would definitely book here again."

"Very welcoming staff at the front desk. Room was very clean and spacious. Comfortable bed. Nice to have a mini refrigerator and small microwave in the room. Definitely not a fancy looking hotel from the outside, but completely remodeled and a great place for a quick stay!"

"In on the advisories the food was good and it was plentiful! We really like the instant pancake maker! Did not care for the rule and all of the signs advising no take away. Sometimes we like to bring our food back to our room to dine or sit outdoors. Most Continental buffets allow this."

"Breakfast was really fresh. The bar was good, relaxing to be there. The bartender has a magnificent memory, as soon as my husband show up , the bartender has the drink ready. Impressive. The only thing we have uncomfortable was kids running on the hall at midnight. 3 nights in a row, woke me up, hard to go back to sleep, cause it wasn't one time per night."
