"A beautiful hotel with pedigree as the oldest hotel in Vienna! It was immaculate and our room described as a superior double had an enormous bed ( superking size as I couldn’t find my husband!) with a fab mattress and linens. The room was large and spacious and all needs catered for. The staff was great as we borrowed an umbrella several times, needed assistance due to breaking a glass and extra teabags . All dealt with quickly and with no fuss. Breakfast was varied and enjoyable and again the staff was efficient. The location was perfect as our daughter was living a street away, but was also in the lovely 2nd district with cafes and shops. Trams right outside and metros very close by to access further afield. Just over the bridge was the inner city 1st district, with lots that Vienna has to offer including the cathedral, shops and culture. A great hotel and we would love to stay again."
