"Great location and quiet room . The couple who own the property are both lovely and helpful. The room has all the amenities you could wish for , they have considered what a guest might want or need . You can park off street . The room was a little on the small side but adequate for one or two nights . The continental breakfast is adequate and the fresh coffee as very good . The property was full so the breakfast room was too and we felt a little bit close to other tables ."

"pub is now closed but rooms still availble, you would need to go to another pub which is a 2 mins drive or 20 min walk for dinner. Lovely owner, very friendly."

"Rooms were good size. Bed was large and comfy. Pillows were comfy. Bathroom was a good size. All very clean. The floors in the room are laminate and could do with a good hoover and mop. Swimming pool was a good size. Sauna and steam rooms were working and usable. Gym was small but had everything needed. £15 parking for 24hr is a let down. If your a staying guest parking should be included. Towels are supplied for use at the pool and gym so you don't have to take them from the room."

"Decent size room. Hairdryer in the room and a fan thankfully, which was needed because the room was like an oven. The full English was ok but overall was decent value if you make full use of the continental buffet, just watch out for the low hanging light."

"The water was hot but the shower rail was coming off the wall. The room is tiny and very hot, this wasn't helped by the plastic covered pillows. It was an effort to get in as ghe door to the room stuck badly. There was an efficient but not a warm welcome and please read the small print as breakfast is only toast, cereal and pastries."

"Used this hotel as my son and I were going to Download and its convenient location was ideal. Contact from the hotel was really good prior to the visit to confirm the names of guests and whether car parking was needed, taking the registration number of the vehicle. Reception staff were helpful as we got there a few hours before check in but they let us in as the room was ready. They confirmed that the booking was for room only and explained that we could book breakfast each day if we wanted to....

"Nice clean room, good shower and beds. It's such good value and basic which is all I needed as was at the BTCC at Donginton Park all day. Nice selection of beers in the bar and friendly staff. This is my second time using this hotel and will use again in the future."

"it’s okay. my room was now hoovered at all, dirty floor, checked bed for bed buds and it was safe to sleep. the heater was cold majority of night and only when i woke up after 7am i noticed it actually worked, didnt think it did. if the cleanliness of the place was better it would be a better review but staff is very helpful. cant go wrong for £40 per night."

"Lovely, welcoming staff. Very easy to check in at the pub next to the accommodation. Very good location and easy to find. Free parking which is a bonus these days! Stayed for 3 nights in a family room, clean but a little dated. Beds could be more comfortable. Breakfast was nice and has a lovely kids play area. Overall a pleasant stay."
