"Lovely traditional family run hotel. Full of charm and history everything is fine sedately and in keeping with the owners vision of a home from home for the residents. For us it felt a little too formal at times and we only had dinner once, preferring the more casual style of some the valley's other restaurants. The food was good though. Breakfast was the only exception...a bit of a scrum most mornings with popular choices often running out."

"The property is beautiful and so is the location. It hurts me to give a poor review but I have to do so because of the way I was treated upon arriving at the hotel - it was a rude and almost surreal unprofessional check in experience - coupled later with several mishaps in terms of hygiene and safety. In fact, the special “covid-19” hygiene measures are not as advertised in their website. My room had obviously not been vacuumed as I stepped on a piece of glass shard that went right into my...
