"All rooms are hard surface so clean. The beds have recently been replaced and are comfortable. The bedding and pillows were clean and comfortable. The reception staff was friendly. The only amenity that would make the stay better would be if king size beds were offered."

"Expedia, 0 ⭐️ Hampton Inn Duluth Canal Park, 5 ⭐️ Hotel is under renovations. The front desk and breakfast/social gathering area are torn up and closed. Expedia makes zero mention of this when booking. The hotel website informs people immediately on their homepage. I contacted Expedia and after 20 minutes, they found on the app under “policies” it states, “hotel is under renovations”, so I should have been informed. I said it took you 20 minutes to find this information out and you work for Expedia. They didn’t care. Expedia expects you to go searching for important information that they bury under incorrect headings. We will stay at Hampton Inn Canal Park again, but I’m finished booking through Expedia."
