Ocean 2 is located in a great spot - a short walk from lots of places to eat and drink - the hotel has its own lovely beach and the hotel is small enough to feel intimate but big enough to serve all needs. 3 happy hours a day were great and lots of special flavour nights were good. The staff can organise any trips or activities you want and all in all it was a lovely stay.

The staff are truly amazing... helpful, friendly and enthusiastic. Better and more reasonably priced dining options/facilities would be a bonus especially for children although the well equipped kitchen was appreciated. A very chilled, relaxing and happy resort 💝

We absolutely loved this resort!! It was beautiful, private, clean and close to the Gap. There wasn’t anything not to love and that’s coming from Sandal Select members for 15 years. I am so happy we chose O2.

The staff was so professional, friendly and accommodating. The food was very good... delicious lunch. The bar tenders did not skimp on the alcohol in the mixed drinks. The beach was lovely and felt somewhat private. No complaints whatsoever!

The Ocean 2 staff were excellent---helpful and friendly all the time. The location was beautiful with a sensational view of the ocean and 3 attractive pools, large comfortable lounge chairs and thoughtful activities, including bringing Santa Claus to visit the children and bring gifts..

The service was excellent and the complimentary breakfast was delicious each day. Even though they had some construction going on it didn’t affect our stay I honestly didn’t realize it until a staff member apologized for it. Our room door had some complications but they made sure to get right on it. I loved Melinda politeness and the extra mile she took every time I asked a question and I also loved Javon services he offered they hospitality room to us for an extra 30 mins because our flight got delayed. The hotel manager was also friendly and conversed with me every time she saw me. I loved that because i didn’t feel just like a “customer”. I felt like a guest in one of my friends home.

Staff were great as is the nation of Barbados. Our bedroom was musty and after cleaning much did not change. The drapes MUST be washed. Dust mites.mould dangerous for people with respiratory problems. Need a shuttle to/from airport.

Recently stayed in one of their oceanfront suites. Larger than expected with stunning view of ocean. The property is immaculate and the staff is top notch. Therr is active construction nextdoor, however I didn't notice it. On the quieter side of The Gap. Easy walk to affordable but great restaurants at Dover Beach and bars/nightlife on the other end of the Gap. Though kitchens were stocked with pots and pans etc, still have to buy oil, and storage for leftovers ( these items can be expensive given the cost of items in Barbados). Overall we had a very relaxing and peaceful stay.

Great place to stay. Beach is beaut. Close to St Lawrence gap... walked easily! And very friendly staff! Gym was alright... could do with more vegetarian options on menu! Slightly overpriced lunch.

Everything was great at the hotel - the staff especially were very friendly and helpful! On our last night, we discovered a cockroach in our suite. Unfortunately, because we have a baby, we weren't able to have the room sprayed. The hotel apologized, but did not offer any compensation against this, which was odd.

The staff are all very friendly, it's in a good location within walking distance or a short bus/cab ride to the main areas of the island and the hotel has a pool bar, rooftop pool, and it's own (decent) beach, what more could you want.

I have been here several times and really loved it This time there were changes like no cushions on The recliners in the room Clean towels by the beach empty The food took a long time and wasn’t as good Only one elevator was working There has been a change and it’s not for the better

Appreciated the secluded beach away from foot traffic with complimentary chairs/umbrellas. Saw sea turtles every day. Breakfast was excellent but were disappointed with dinner preparation (very slow and food sat under heat lamps for what seemed like forever). 24 security staff and beach attendants were phenomenal. Pools were a little small but pleasant.

Room was small. Shower flooded. Not enough light in bathroom. Power went out. TV table fell. No air or ceiling fans outside of room. Net or enclosure needed around outside restuarant to keep birds at bay. I saw birds land on top of guests food, and drink and on top of the juice used for mixed drinks at the outside bar. There is definitely room for improvement. Bar staff were cool. (John and Kyle).

I enjoyed the entrance to the ocean straight from the lobby, it's amazing. The only issue we had was that our fan in the bathroom wasn't working, kind of disappointing. However, the staff response to the issue was excellent and they were willing to give us a new suite to accomodate us. Not very soundproof, we constantly heard the neoghbors above us moving their chairs ALL the time.

The property has asinine rules. Turn down service is available every 3 days. The same rules apply to replacing the towels. There are no microwaves on site unless your room came equipped with one. The prices for the food were outrageous. Paid $4.50 for a hot 20 oz. Coca-Cola. Was never informed if there was an ice machine available. Room service stops at 9pm. No vending machines . Very stale and boring resort.
