"Staff was very welcoming and helpful. our rooms were clean and I was happy with the iron, ironing board and hair dryer in the room. breakfast was great but as my partner was vegetarian he only had hash browns and beans it would be nice to have veggie sausages. we decided to eat in on our last night but was disappointed in the meal as the nan bread was rock hard and the curry was very bland with less curry and more of the boiled rice missing out the mango chutney will not be eating dinner again"

"Huge rooms ! Bath with shower over.2 chairs or sofa.Massive bed. Stairs up to 1st and 2nd floor are steep. No lift.only 12 bedrooms. Plenty of parking .Breakfast is excellent! Very clean great service. Short walk to castle but very steep!"

"A very attractive, old Tudor style hotel. Great atmosphere. Absolutely charming, friendly and helpful staff. The room was smallish but adequate. Quiet and comfortable. bathroom clean. A good breakfast included. Hotel parking ( £10.00 per night) was quite a way from the hotel. "
