"Phenomenal place to stay. We were in the mews in one of the newly renovated rooms, and it was so beautifully out together. Very clean, great staff, and if we needed anything we had it within minutes. We had our 4 year old with us too, and there is a great park & playground behind the hotel which was a big plus. Highly recommend! The only next best thing would be to have somewhere to hang your towel within reach of the tub. That’s the only set back, if you have bad knees or can’t bend over...

"Our host was accommodating he let us check in early and bought a new dinner set the next day when I alerted him. I liked the fact that parking came included and it was centrally located. We did have a few problems such as the excess dust and dirt under the sofa, the uncomfortable bed, the linen that really needs changing (it’s been washed too many times) and the dishwasher wasn’t functioning. "

"It’s a dated building but I can tell you the AC worked great! We were there during a record heat wave. The breakfast staff was less than kind. We tried each morning to sit away from the sunny windows and both times they promptly told us they were saving those tables for families. No families came in during either our breakfasts and there were plenty of tables throughout the restaurant to accommodate them if they did arrive. I was very polite whilst requesting seating that was needed to...

Yet, My wife & I were given entry into the building without having completed the supposed mandatory online check-in, having only spoken to someone through the Ring doorbell camera. We found that the key lock box for our room has been improperly closed by the previous guest, with our room key literally falling out of the lock box when we entered the house. "- Not enough parking, was told to park illegally and given a peice of paper saying manor hotel guest for the window - loud constant noise only hearable in room - no hot water for shower - no plug in bath - mould on ceiling in bathroom - stains on bedding - broken tap housing - several bulbs broken - found an empty water bottle under bed - no disabled access It's a nice area, and you could tell about 30 years ago the hotel would have been posh. "2 day stay . Very bad smelling room even after 2 days with window open. Its clearly been lived in by a smoker and a sock was still covering the smoke detector. Really uncumfortabke beds and dirty stained sheets and matress. No lamps no cups, spoon or coffee. Even had to tune the telly myself. Very strange types walking around the corridors would not recomend. Staff were nice enough when i spoke to them. Im not the complaining type so just loughed if off as a bad experience never to be repeated....
