Overall very good - shame about the tiny room
Great location, excellent breakfast and very attentive hosts. Very disappointed by the size of the room - the Heligan is tiny - just enough room for the bed and very little wardrobe space - so had to keep my clothes in my case and it was a squeeze in and out of the bathroom - which has an opaque window - so if you dont mind seeing your partner on the loo then its ok. For a room described as 'deluxe' with a kingsize bed it was a let down, having travelled 300 miles to get there. Overall though a pleasant stay and the service and breakfast were excellent.

Really enjoyed our stay. Friendly and helpful owners and staff. Comfortable room with everything you need. Loved the cake when we returned at the end of the day. Breakfast was the best! Good location for touring or just visiting St Ives where train is just 5 mins walk away. Would definitely stay again.

The location of the property, view from the room, furnishings and fittings and lovely shower. Breakfast was amazing and staff very attentive. Our only gripe was cleanliness of drawers not been cleaned and hair from another customer. Rubbish not taken out of the room and tea coffee not replenished when used, however would definitely stay here again just loved it

Luxurious B&B in a great location
This was probably the highlight of our 5 week UK trip. Absolutely fabulous place. Great location, lovely walk to St Ives. Luxurious room with great view. We enjoyed the afternoon tea left for us each day and a drink in the Snug after our days travels was very enjoyable. The cooked breakfast each day was delicious. The hosts made us feel very welcome and provided great local information. We couldn't recommend this place more.

Happy stay at the Headland B&B
The B&B was fantastic, the staff were really friendly and the breakfast was exceptional. Only a five minute walk from the beach - Carbis Bay. You get free cake in your room after it is made each afternoon (bonus). The breakfast room has beautiful views of the beach and surrounding area.

Absolutely lovely.
What a wonderful evening we had. We wish we could have had a whole week. The house is stunning inside and out. Perfectly decorated, to entice wonder and joy. Beautiful furniture and amenities, an "honestyy bar", generous and not overstated bedrooms and bathroom, excellent breakfast and very friendly and caring staff and hosts. Also, amazing location, 150 yards from train station for a quick pop to St. Ives and Penzance.

A little means a lot
All the little extra touches really went a long way. Cake in your room every afternoon. Brollies and beach mats available to use. Fresh milk and water in the fridge. An honesty bar. Made to feel very welcome and breakfast each morning was amazing. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone wishing to visit the St Ives area.

Beautiful private garden room, nice honesty bar, great breakfast with everything you could ask for. Great walk along the coast to town, or there is a handy train. Nice restaurant nearby.

Exceptional B&B with lovely owners
Exceptional B&B. Clean, well furnished. Easy on premise parking. 1 minute from Train into St Ives. Beautiful breakfast. Most impressive are the lovely owners, Mark met us on arrival, spent ages showing us around and offering advice on places to go and places to eat, Then met Fenella, equally lovely, chatty and helpful. Our host and hostess were great, helpful, knowledgeable about the area, and they put together a good team. The breakfast was excellent with delightful attention to detail. It is away from the bustle of St Ives, but easy to access the town via a 2 minute train ride. Good parking, comfortable rooms, close to the beautiful beaches.

Wonderful stay.
The hotel really was luxurious. The room we had was amazing (a bath in the room was a romantic touch!). Host were great and gave very helpful info on arrival about the train in to St Ives, etc.

The couple that run the place were lovely--incredibly helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. The location is great. You can walk in a couple minutes to the train station and you are one stop from St Ives. I think it costs £2 for a return ticket.

Great spot to explore St Ives
Headland House in Carbis Bay is just outside St Ives. Mark and Fenella are wonderful hosts who know the area well and can recommend plenty to do, eat and see. We stayed in the Heligan room which was cosy and quiet. If you’re thinking of a visit to St Ives, Headland House is a great spot to consider.

Lovely B&B close to beautiful beach
Lovely B&B close to beautiful beach and away from main tourist area of St Ives (still only a short walk or train ride away). Owners were very friendly and helpful and gave us all the information on the area. The B&B was beautiful and clean with comfortable beds, and the breakfast was incredible, and changed each day. We stayed in the Mousehole room which was a little on the small side, but was clean and comfortable and had a lovely bathroom.

Most enjoyable stay with the most wonderful hosts
My husband and I had a most wonderful stay at Mark and Fernella's gorgeous hotel. They are the most lovliest hosts we have come across and looked after both us both in such a kind manner. The decor is incredibly tasteful and the breakfasts were simply scrumptious . I would recommend this hotel to all. It is worth every penny. I cannot fault them. The special treat of cake left daily in our rooms was an extra little touch that I most enjoyed after a long coastal walk/shopping or after a day relaxing on the gorgeous beach. Location is superb

The perfect stopover
Mark & Fenella are the perfect hosts. We arrived very, very tired after a tough couple of weeks work, a funeral and a 300mile long drive. They immediately helped with organising place to eat. Room was spacious, shower excellent, bed well it took no time to zzzzzzzzzz. When we decided to stopover one more night and as they were fully booked, they did a ring round and found us a great place in St Ives. What more could you ask for. Their place is very comfortable, well located and a great place to relax. Breakfast ..perfect. I am very happy to recommend!

Erholsame Tage in St Yves in schöner Villa
Wir hatten ein kleines Zimmer angeboten bekommen, das wir in das Boat Zimmer änderten. Die Gastgeber waren sehr bemüht, damit wir uns wohl fühlen können. Sehr schönes Haus in Carbis Bay. Honesty Bar, gemütliche Zimmer und Aufenthaltsräume und eine sehr angenehme Terrasse. Super Frühstück, individuell gekocht und serviert im Wintergarten mit Aussicht auf's Meer. Ein paar steile Meter nach unten und schon ist man in der kleinen Bahn, die eine Station weiter nach St Yves harbour führt. Also weg vom Trubel entfernt wohnen und in 5 Minuten in St Yves. Eigener Stellplatz. Gastgeber sind mega entspannt und relaxt.

Fantastiskt hotell
Mycket trevligt litet hotell med 9 underbara rum o så sköna sängar,väldigt rent o fräsht o modernt med Lexington stil. Fin service med vatten kakor te o kaffe på rum. Ägs av väldigt trevligt par. Bra frukost som var så god o riklig. Middag o lunch äter man inne i St Ives dit man enkelt tar ett tåg en station. Tar vad man vill i baren o skriver på rummet. Parkeringsplats utanför. Absolut ett hotell vi kommer återvända till o kan varmt rekommendera. Kunde bott en hel vecka o massor att se o uppleva om man har bil.
