Hotel Dekat Kelab Golf Spruce Creek Preserve

"Nice hotel, nice breakfast, great location and I have stayed there many times. The bad part is that they now charge for parking for the first time, which is ridiculous. You can park on the street or anywhere around the hotel for free. For some reason, with booking the hotel on Expedia, I was able to avoid the parking fees. When. I was checking out, the hotel clerk said, "I don't know how you avoided the parking fees!" And I said, "Good! See you later. " Then I left the hotel."

"The rooms are being remodeled and we had a newly painted clean room. The room had a coffee machine, microwave, and mini fridge. The beds were comfortable just a little on the firm side although it did have a padded mattress topper. We did get good sleep at the Sleep Inn. The only complaint was the venting machine took my money and froze up due to being touch screen. I do understand that is the vending machine companies issue. "Overall a decent place to stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything seemed clean and organized. Pool was not swimable following morning but considering there was rain the night before it was understandable. I'm sure it just wasn't cleaned out yet. Best part was very good breakfast considering it's a hotel breakfast. Rooms have older furniture and beds were hard and uncomfortable. Lousy pillows made it even worse. Upgrade the beds and I'll give 5 star for the price point."

"The cleaning folks were clearly doing as best as they could considering the property itself was in such poor repair. You could see the years (yes, years) of deferred maintenance. The bathtub had new tiles, but the grout and the caulk was so poorly adhered that it was not possible to clean.
