This is our 3rd annual visit. A lovely, less "touristy" NJ shore, right across the street from the beach with a quiet victorian feel. Beach badges, towels, chairs, umbrellas provided. Fantastic restaurant on first floor. Staff and especially the general manager were just great.

Lovely property right on the beach. Staff was so friendly and accommodating! In true Victorian style, the rooms are small and the bathroom is tight. But the rest makes up for this. I can’t wait to stay again!

Our room (#1) was very small and one side of the queen bed didn't have a nightstand. The window shades didnt sufficiently block out light so we were up each morning earlier than we would have liked. It’s weird that the only way to enter is through the restaurant which is a very high end place so coming through in a bathing suit from beach across the street feels odd. The staff is nice enough but there’s nothin to be done about these things. Don’t let the pictures fool you By the way, there is no pool on the premises that picture is the pool at the Breakers hotel next door which is not on hotels.com or Expedia only available directly from their website.

We stayed here for a family reunion that was in a nearby town. I loved the ocean view from our bedroom. I enjoy the old-building-feel and look of the place. The surrounding neighborhoods are beautiful. The beach is across the street. Very nice. I've been here before and will return again.

This is the 2nd time I stayed at the Grand Victorian. The location and rooms and gardens are beautiful! The staff was AMAZING! It rivals concierge service of some of the fine and prestigious luxury hotels. I can't complement them enough for the 5 star service.

Our stay at the Grand Victorian was FABULOUS (as usual) although the shower head in the bathroom definitely needed to be replaced. The staff could not be more helpful and friendly, (especially the courteous and professional hostess who seated us and Sussie, our waitress) as we were able to enjoy a DELICIOUS meal - Bareli's is a great complement to the services of Grand Victorian. We will DEFINITELY BE BACK!

Noone at the hotel to greet you, restaurant downstairs is a separate business and on both Sat and Sun at 730am they were vaccuming loudly completely oblivious of hotel guests

This property was sold a year ago. For older people, difficult climbing stairs 15 straight up, no help with getting luggage up the stairs, there was one young man supposedly to help, but was not very helpful The front porch is rented out to chief which has nothing to do with the property, does not do breakfast etc. location is right next to Breakers but certainly can’t compare.
