"Very clean, modern, comfortable and nicely decorated hotel. I was able to check in late, and because I missed my breakfast the next day (I left for the office early), the hotel contacted me on my phone to check if everything was OK. Unfortunately I did not manage to have breakfast due to my early starts, but my hosts tried to encourage me to take something or a coffee to go - extremely friendly and attentive. We met other families and our kids played together… the river behind the property its like a dream, plus together with the hiking trails we didn’t even wanted to leave the place. our first time in Slovenia did not disappoint. "Overall, we had an excellent stay at the Grand Plaza Hotel. It's walkable to the major sites. The staff were all very helpful and allowed us a late check out and others an early check in if they could. The breakfast was amazing with so many choices and the staff was very on top of refilling things that were emptied. We had a beautiful room, with an amazing view of the city and the other room had a castle view. The two things to be aware of - 1. The A/C works but not as well as other hotels...

"Very nice guest house. Comfortable rooms, and good food. Rural and yet close to the airport and only 30-45 minutes to Lake Bled in one direction and Ljubliana in the other."

"Wonderful location 5 minutes from Ljublana airport. Delicious dinner after checking-in late (driving from Venice). The desserts were fabulous. Staff friendly and professional. The morning breakfast service at 7am was perfect for us with an early flight. We highly recommend this small hotel in a quaint village (which also conveniently has a gas station, and a Spar grocery store)."
